That’s Math! walks parents through the process of finding and saying, out loud, the math that happens in their natural environment everyday. That “math-talk” shows kids that math is part of their life in all kinds of common areas and items.
Outside the Classroom
The more children see math happening around them, the less intimidating and more approachable it is. That’s Math! gives you, the parent, the opportunity to talk about math to your child outside of a traditional academic setting.
When parents use the tools of That’s Math!, children see that math isn’t just limited to school, text books, and tests. It is around us all the time – at home, at the grocery store, outdoors, etc.
Designed With You in Mind
Everyone’s environment is different, so we wanted to maintain a breadth of examples which would pertain to all those using That’s Math!. The content includes the most common items and situations. We’ve worked hard to ensure the program is useful to most everyone.
