That's Math! In the Bathroom

“Pam, it’s bath time,” Sue called to her daughter.”No bath,” Pam replied in her tiny voice, distracted by her puzzle.

“Aunt Amy and Uncle Jon are coming over for dinner. You need to be finished with your bath before dinner.”

“Aunt Amy’s coming?” Pam’s eyes lit up. Aunt Amy was popular in the household because of her “math treats.” She always brought something for dessert and tied it to math.

“She is, Pammy. And I think she’s bringing Fibonacci Fig Treats! Do you remember, Fibonacci was the mathematician with that cool number pattern?”

“Yes,” Pam replied dismissively, scrambling to get up and head down the hall. “I need to take a bath!”

“Please put away the puzzle, first,” Sue said with a smile, glad bath time would go smoothly.
